Your Role
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Conduct purchasing and store operations.
- Source and evaluate reliable vendors, maintaining good relations.
- Issue purchase orders for various items.
- Check and process delivery orders and invoices.
- Plan and control purchase and delivery of chemicals and materials.
- Address quality issues and manage supplier interactions.
- Prepare monthly purchasing reports.
- Manage scrap and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Prepare and send supplier communications.
- Work with mentors to understand workflows.
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in any field from a reputable university.
- Proficiency in English and Malay, both spoken and written.
- Strong results orientation, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- A pleasant personality with the ability to interact at all levels.
