SPX Express Procurement Intern (Rolling Intake)

Your role

The Operation teams at Shopee cover the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers.
• Help manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Help analyze the operational tracker to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operational activities.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating logistics, and other ad-hoc tasks.

About you

To apply for this role at Shopee Malaysia, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance or any related field
• Good communication skills, proactive and willing to learn
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to commence a full-time internship for a minimum of 3 months, with a preference for 6 months
• Based in Mercu, KL Eco City
