Fraud Intern - Operations (Rolling Intake)

Your role

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate appeal cases for false positive account actions on Shopee Marketplace.
• Act as the first line of response for reported or escalated fraud and scam cases.
• Reinvestigate fraud and abuse cases handled by Buyer & Seller Review.
• Manage fraud cases while balancing customer needs and company benefits.
• Collaborate with various teams to monitor and analyze data for fraud trends and false positives, assisting in forming preventive measures.
• Review user-reported fraud-related claims and perform front-end checks to identify risky sellers.
• Conduct investigations on violations of benefits and promotions.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and report new fraud trends or system issues, initiating preventive measures.

About you

Qualifications

• Be a final-year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Be available for a full-time internship for at least 3 months.
• Be detail-oriented and able to solve problems efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Possess good analytical skills and be comfortable handling data.
• Have strong Microsoft Excel skills. Customer service experience is a plus.
