Your role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Implement and maintain data center infrastructure for Sea products and services.
- Manage IDC facilities, servers, and network equipment across regions.
- Setup and install server and network hardware per business needs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot server and network system issues.
- Deploy and configure Linux and Windows server operating systems.
- Manage data center assets and inventories.
- Document server and storage configurations for auditing and tracking.
- Collaborate with data center partners to ensure facility compliance.
About you
Ideal candidates will have:
- A diploma or higher in Telecommunication, IT, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in data center operations and facility management.
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows servers, and VMWare.
- Knowledge of server, enterprise network, and SAN equipment setup.
- Experience with fiber and copper cross-connect installations.
- Skills in upgrading and replacing internal system components.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of HVAC/CRAC, UPS, Battery, and Generator systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Fast-learning ability and willingness to acquire new skills.
