Your role

Shell is seeking a motivated and innovative Digital and Improvement Intern to join their Trading & Supply department. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital transformation and process improvement within a dynamic trading environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to support various digital initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

  • Digital Transformation:
    • Assist in the implementation of digital tools and technologies to enhance trading operations.
    • Collaborate with team members to identify and develop digital solutions for process optimization.
    • Participate in data collection and analysis to support digital projects.
    • Help in the maintenance and troubleshooting of digital systems
  • Process Improvement:
    • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
    • Assist in developing and implementing process improvement plans.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives.
    • Support the documentation and standardization of new processes.
  • Project Support:
    • Provide administrative and project management support for ongoing digital and improvement projects.
    • Prepare presentations, reports, and other project documentation as required.
    • Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops and meetings.

About you

Shell is looking for students who meet the following requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of digital tools and technologies (e.g., data analytics, automation software).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Previous internship or project experience in digital transformation or process improvement is a plus.
  • Understanding the trading industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum 6 months of internship commitment
