Your role

If you are a Tool Crib Technician at AirAsia, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assisting in monitoring and recording of tools/equipment daily movement
  • Update tooling and equipment status on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all calibrated tools/equipment are properly maintained.
  • Assist in the arrangement of tools/equipment to be sent for calibration with the vendor / 3rd party.
  • Ensure the Toolcrib area is clean and properly managed, including recording of temperature and humidity levels.
  • Assist in sending defective tools/equipment for repair.
  • Ensure TEDR (Tool & Equipment Discrepancy Report) are available for each defective tool/equipment.
  • Ensure the administration of spares and material is performed for the Hub station (Airside Store operation).
  • Attending scheduled backup as required to support maintenance operations.
  • Any other task as assigned by the immediate superior.
