Your role
In this role, you will do the tasks below:
- Perform analysis/analytical review of General Ledger GL (GL), cost center checks, and transaction posting checks.
- Participate in month-end GL closing activities, analysis, and reporting
- Reviews GL distribution of Account Payable (AP) transactions to ensure accounting and reporting accuracy
- Support in the preparation and review of financial transaction reconciliations
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (e.g. Engineering Managers, Finance P2P, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end closing and reporting activities.
- Analyzing, monitoring, and consolidating financial and order data
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis or participate in process improvement.
- Assist in the development of annual financial forecasts, budgets, and plans
About you

- Business Skills and Competencies:
- Education required: BS degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Finance/Accounting discipline
- Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English and Malay
- Proficient in the use of IT and software/systems (Excel, Google Sheets, Data Studio, Power BI), ideally document management and database systems.
- Behavioural Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as part of a culturally diverse team.
- Pro-active, self-motivated, and displaying initiative in solving problems
- Pro-active in seeking to improve processes making them more effective and efficient
- Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment.
