Your role
As a Contracts & Materials Executive at AirAsia Malaysia, you will have the following duties & responsibilities:
Maintain an effective and economical administrative system for the Contracts and materials management.
Implements and manages short and long-term goals, budget requirements, schedules, and strategies for continuous improvement in Contracts and Materials management
Implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines for Contracts and Materials management.
Participate in negotiations with vendors/customers and take appropriate follow-up action on rejected claims where the Contracts and Materials aspects are concerned.
Process contracts implications in purchases, supplies, and sales of engineering services and equipment.
Delivers quality projects from inception to close-out on time and within
Responsible for undertaking the necessary corrective action resulting from the quality compliance monitoring and audit program.
Serves as the liaison for the Contracts and Materials management and administration program with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies; negotiates and resolves sensitive and controversial issues.
Controls, monitors, and oversees any Contracts and Materials management related to aircraft airworthiness materials, services, and maintenance of the fleet, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency in terms of cost, time, and quality all the time.
Review and authorize materials to be purchased/supplied/moved into the fleet, unserviceable parts to be sent to service, BER parts to be scrapped, or any service discrepancy.
Review and monitor Contracts and Materials management reports for CAMO.

About you
To apply for this role, you need to meet the qualifications below:
Education
Candidate must possess at least a minimum Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferably in Engineeringand supply chain management
2+ years of experience preferably in contract or supply chain management. However, fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
Desired skills and knowledge
Possess personal traits: Proactive, Agile all-rounder, meticulous, self-starter, results-driven team player and willing to learn, able to perform under pressure in a challenging environment.
Knowledge and skills in engineering contract negotiation with stakeholder management and materials management
Demonstrate understanding of contract terms and analytical skills
Possess good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Data Studio.
Ability to maintain high confidentiality, tactfulness, and discretion when dealing with people.
High Sense of commitment and dedication.
Independent with good work ethics.
High comfort level working in a diverse environment.
Able to travel when it is required.
