Join AirAsia SEA as a Booking to Cash Executive in Petaling Jaya, where you'll manage bank transactions and financial data with precision.
Your Role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Prepare reconciliation for bank host by various MID.
- Support daily download and upload of bank settlement files to the Finexus system and follow up on missing files.
- Prepare reconciliation for FXMP and Duty-free/Travel fair.
- Download and attach bank statements.
- Create journals/receipts in Oracle for month-end closing, focusing on bank charges, refunds, and receipts.
- Generate collection on behalf (Interco) reports and create journals in Oracle.
- Review accuracy for subsequent payments.
- Apply monthly receipts and ensure customer aging aligns with company policies.
- Prepare monthly credit card adjustment reconciliation, mainly from Interco and Forex.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and bank host reconciliation.
- Address issue requests and ad-hoc tasks from central requests.
- Assist in providing supporting documents for audits.
- Participate in improvement projects.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- An Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
- A dynamic, result-oriented, "can do" attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Preferred experience with Oracle.
