Your role

As an Accounting and Tax Intern at AirAsia Malaysia, you will do the following tasks:

• Assist in computing withholding tax and reconciling it with respective expenses.
• Aid in monitoring the withholding tax process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial data to compile necessary information for the preparation of tax computations.
• Assist in analyzing financial data for the preparation of service tax returns.
• Support in analyzing financial data for the preparation of tourism tax documentation.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

About you

• Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with financial data.
• Familiarity with tax computation and reporting processes is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
