Your role

About The Role

As an intern, you'll support the team by handling vendor onboarding tasks, including VRF/VDD checks and communication with ADA requestors and vendors. Help verify BCs, create purchase orders, and handle day-to-day accounting operations such as Accounts Payable tasks. Ensure tax compliance, file accounting documents, and provide backup support for team members as needed.

What Will You Do?

• Processing Vendor Onboarding and Updates: Responsible for performing VRF/VDD
• checks on vendors as part of the procurement team. The main person who
• forwards the necessary information to the vendor specialist team for vendor ID
• creation in D365.
• Liaising with Clients and Vendors: Engages in extensive communication with ADA
• requestors and vendors, particularly in the context of vendor onboarding and client
• registration.
• BC Checking: Efficiently handles the verification of approved BCs and ensures that
• all accompanying documents are in proper order.
• PO Creation: Takes charge of creating purchase orders in D365 following the review
• of BCs and updates the PO listing accordingly.
• Hands-on in day-to-day accounting operations from Accounts Payable (entering invoices, payments & payments preparation), verifying staff claims, month-end closing entries & etc
• Ensure adequate internal controls are in place for all areas of operations.
• Responsible for local tax compliance and reporting requirements – including timely e-filing of tax returns (SST), annual tax on income, tax payments, WHT, and transfer pricing documentation.
• Proper filing of all the accounting documents
• Other duties that may arise, including assistance with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests and performing any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time
• Backing Up: Support during the absence of other team members.

About you

Requirements for this internship:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent
• Knowledge using Microsoft Dynamics D365 & AX would have an advantage
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess computerized accounting software knowledge
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and communicate with all levels of management
• Proactive, independent, and able to multi-task in meeting deadlines
