Your role

As a Finance Intern at ADA Malaysia, you will be performing the following tasks:

• Assist in entering invoices into the accounting system.
• Participate in the payment processing cycle and help in payment preparation.
• Verify and reconcile staff claims for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Contribute to maintaining the fixed assets register, ensuring accurate recording and tracking of assets.
• Assist in conducting periodic physical verification of fixed assets.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing and entering closing entries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end tasks.
• Assist in weekly cash flow management, monitoring inflows and outflows.
• Work with the finance team to ensure optimal cash utilization and liquidity.
• Ensure accurate accounting for all intercompany transactions.
• Regularly reconcile intercompany billings, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of financial accounts to identify and resolve any un-reconciled items.
• Assist in preparing Opex Variance Analysis to understand and explain budget variances.
• Work towards ensuring timely submission of monthly reports after the closing process.
• Contribute to preparing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and Notes to Accounts.
